The 4th Annual Winter K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch Championship will be co-hosted by Ohio Disc Dogs and The Southern Ohio Flying K9's on Saturday, January 21, 2017.
For 2017, we've dropped the Skyhoundz competition and replaced it with an AWI Toss & Fetch so that all three events will now be sanctioned World Qualifying Events.
Handler & Dog(s) teams will compete in the following three K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch event formats. Champions will be crowned for each event as well as for the Overall Winter Champion based on cumulative scoring.

We've again rented The Lodge at Virginia Kendal National Park where will have two fireplaces, hot beverages all day, breakfast food and a warm lunch catered by Moe's Restaurant of Cuyahoga Falls.

Dogs aren't allowed in the Lodge, but parking is very close so you can keep your pups nearby in your vehicles. There's also a covered Shelter attached to the lodge with plenty of room for crates.
Due to the short daylight hours and the Lodge's occupancy restrictions, there will be a 50 team limit.
To accommodate as many players as possible, handlers are limited to two dogs each.
From a cost standpoint, our goal is to break even. To that end, here's the cost breakdown:
Handler/Competitor 1st Dog Ticket: $85
-- Includes event entry for 1 dog, lodge access, breakfast & lunch.
Handler/Competitor 2nd Dog Ticket: $50
-- Includes event entry for 2nd dog.
Optional Cash & Catch Ticket: $10
-- Purchase if you want to throw $10 in a Cash & Catch-style pot on your Dog(s). Pot Split: 60% to 1st Overall; 30% to 2nd Overall; 10% to 3rd Place Overall
Guest Ticket: $35
-- Includes lodge access, coffee & hot chocolate, breakfast & lunch.
Money can't be exchanged at the National Park so you must register and pay in advance.
Due to the growing interest in the Winter Event, combined with the 50 Team Limit, registration will be as follows:
-- Phase 1: Past Attendee Registration will open on Monday, Dec. 5 for anyone who has played in any of the first 3 Winter Championships.
-- Phase 2: Open Registration will begin one week later on Monday Dec. 12.
